British Airways Launches 10 New Nonstop Routes: Here's Where It'll Fly

When flights are considered, British Airways is the second-largest carrier serving the UK this year, after easyJet. The oneworld member's dominance varies geographically. BA ranks second domestically, third for short-haul international services, but is—not surprisingly—by far the largest operator for long-haul services. When mainline, BA CityFlyer, and BA EuroFlyer are combined, Cirium Diio data shows that over 270 routes will be available in 2026. This includes a handful of links that will end, such as those from London Heathrow to Cologne, Riga, and Stuttgart, while Abu Dhabi flights are suspended until much later in this year. But for the purpose of this article, the Group will introduce ten routes.

The US Airlines With The World’s Most Improved Narrowbody Seats In 2026

For years, narrowbody aircraft comfort in the United States was immediate shorthand for slim seats, tight pitch, and a race to add rows. In 2026, that story is changing, with a new wave of cabin refreshes on the horizon. Continued narrowbody market growth has come from the Airbus A321neo and the Boeing 737 MAX, both of which have benefited from aggressive retrofit programs, and fiercer competition for high-yield travelers. It has also pushed several US carriers to meaningfully upgrade the part of the aircraft that most people actually fly. The improvements are not just marketing materials. We are seeing smarter seat architecture that preserves knee space, better cushions that stay comfortable past the two-hour mark, larger...

Panasonic Avionics sees Astrova Curve debuting in first class

Years after the initial Covid shut-down period first began, first-class travel is seeing an impressive resurgence, as some of the world’s top-tier commercial airlines double down on offering opulent private suites — whilst others take the “business-plus” route. Airbus is even getting in on the action, having designed an ultra-luxe center module for first class on the A350-1000, featuring a master suite, a private lavatory and a bar; the concept has been shortlisted for a 2026 Crystal Cabin Award. Against the backdrop of this premium travel surge, Panasonic Avionics’ curved, ultra-wide OLED inflight entertainment screen, known as Astrova Curve, is sparking the imagination of airline management teams who want to ‘wow’ passengers seated in the most premium real estate on board.
