Here is Lufthansa’s new A380 business class
Lufthansa’s A380 superjumbos are being upgraded with a new business class seat – and it won’t be the same Allegris business class as now flying on the Airbus A350, and soon the Boeing 787 and 747-8. Instead, the A380 will introduce another business class seat into the Lufthansa mix. “We are introducing a standard very-high quality all-aisle access product in business class” on the A380, Lufthansa’s Chief Customer Officer Heiko Reitz told Executive Traveller during a media briefing in Munich earlier this year.

Etihad COO discusses fleet plans, operational efficiency and US$1 billion revamp
Etihad Airways captured the headlines on the second day of the Dubai Airshow 2025 when it announced it was ordering dozens of widebody Airbus aircraft, some directly from the European aircraft manufacturer, and others via leasing firm Avolon. In addition to an incremental order for six A350-1000 aircraft and three A350 freighters, the airline’s order for 15 A330neo aircraft drew particular attention. The order will see the return of the A330 to Etihad’s fleet, albeit in its latest and most modern version, the A330-900neo.

JetBlue Now Has Record 14 European Routes
You will know by now that JetBlue has added two more European routes. Next April, it'll take off from Boston to Barcelona, followed by Boston to Milan in May. The latter is the troubled carrier's new longest service. When other carriers are included, they were two of 13 new long-haul routes announced in just two days. JetBlue's European foray began amid the pandemic in 2021. In 2026, the airline currently plans a record 14 European routes, all of which are from its top two US airports: New York JFK and Boston. It will serve nine airports on the other side of the Atlantic for the first time.

Frontier Airlines Weighing Up Onboard Wi-Fi As First Class Cabin Nears Debut

This proposed upgrade comes in time for the carrier to start offering first-class services on board. While the potential of introducing in-flight Wi-Fi was only floated around earlier this week, the fact that the carrier will introduce a first-class cabin on board its aircraft was announced by the carrier earlier in the year.
