All Nippon Airways (ANA) has increased its current order with Embraer to include eight additional E190-E2 aircraft in support of domestic flights in Japan. In February 2025, ANA announced that it would integrate E-Jets into its fleet for the first time, with an order for 20 E190-E2 aircraft, consisting of 15 firm orders and five options.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has released data for June 2026 showing global passenger demand, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), was down 1.7% compared to June 2025. Excluding the Middle East, demand declined by 0.6%. Total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), decreased 1.3% year-on-year.
